*Employee Spotlight* This week we interviewed Logan Piepkorn, which was Yellow Rose Mapping LLC 3rd employee and 1st Crew Chief!

How long have you been with the company? 

I started with Yellow Rose in April of 2022.

What does being a Crew Chief entail? 

 As a crew chief I lead a team of surveyors in the field collecting data for maps.

Who inspired you to pursue a career in surveying? 

 My older brother Shaun Piepkorn talked me into surveying back in 2004.

What’s the best advice you can give to someone who just started their career in Land Surveying? 

 Be a sponge. There's quite a few ways to accomplish the same goal and working with different chiefs you'll see that. Don't get stuck in one way of doing things.

What do you like doing in your free time?

 I have four children which take up most of my "free time". I do dabble in a little leatherworking if I have a little extra.
