Quality Level C (QL-C): Utility information obtained by correlating existing records with visible surface features and site observations.

Quality Level B (QL-B): Utility locations determined through appropriate surface geophysical methods to establish approximate horizontal position.

Quality Level A (QL-A): Utility locations confirmed by exposing the utility (e.g., test holes) to obtain precise horizontal and vertical position and utility attributes.
